Publishing Policy
Scope and Mission
Archives of ISPRM serves as the official publication of the International Society of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine. We publish high-quality, peer-reviewed research that advances knowledge in physical and rehabilitation medicine, promotes optimal functioning, and improves quality of life for individuals with disabilities.
Open Access Model
All accepted articles are published under an open access model, ensuring immediate and unrestricted availability to readers worldwide. We operate as a 'gold' open access journal—content becomes freely accessible upon publication without embargo periods.
Peer Review
We employ a double-blind peer review process. Manuscripts undergo initial editorial screening followed by evaluation by at least two independent experts. This rigorous assessment ensures scientific validity, methodological soundness, and meaningful contribution to the field.
Editorial Independence
Editorial decisions are based solely on scientific merit, originality, and relevance. The editorial team operates independently from commercial or political influence. Decisions to accept or reject manuscripts rest entirely with the editors based on peer review recommendations.
Publication Ethics
Archives of ISPRM adheres to the guidelines established by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). We are committed to maintaining the highest standards of publication integrity, including proper handling of misconduct allegations, conflicts of interest, and corrections or retractions when necessary.
Licensing
Articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC-ND 4.0). Authors retain copyright ownership while granting the journal publication rights.
AI Use Policy
Archives of ISPRM recognizes that artificial intelligence (AI)–based tools are increasingly used in scientific research, data analysis, language editing, and manuscript preparation. To ensure transparency, accountability, and compliance with international publishing standards, authors must adhere to the following policies regarding the use of AI technologies:
Mandatory Disclosure: All authors are required to disclose any use of AI tools during the preparation of their manuscript. An Artificial Intelligence (AI) Disclosure Statement must be included after the Funding and Conflict of Interest sections.
Scope of AI Use: AI tools may be used for tasks such as language editing, data analysis, figure creation, or text generation. Authors must clearly specify which parts of the work were assisted by AI and describe the nature and extent of its use.
Responsibility and Integrity: All scientific content, data interpretation, and conclusions are the sole responsibility of the authors. AI tools must not be used to generate or “hallucinate” references; all references must be carefully verified by the authors.
